1. Introduction

Welcome to Mindlytic (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy and Clarification Text has been prepared to inform you about how your personal data is processed, stored, and protected when you use our mobile application.

This document is prepared in compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) of the Republic of Turkey, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and the developer policies of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect data in two categories: Automatically Collected Data (from your device) and Voluntarily Provided Data (from your interactions).

A. Automatically Collected Data (Anonymous & Technical)

Even if you do not create an account, the following data is processed to ensure the App functions and to display advertisements:

  • Device Identifiers: We collect unique identifiers such as the Advertising ID (Apple IDFA or Android AAID) and Firebase Instance ID. These allow us to distinguish your device from others without knowing your real-world identity.

  • Usage Data: Information about how you play the game, such as puzzle completion times, levels unlocked, and button clicks. This is collected via Google Firebase Analytics.

  • Technical Logs: In the event of an error or crash, we collect technical reports via Sentry.io. These reports include your device model, operating system version, free memory, and the state of the app at the time of the crash.

  • Network Data: Your IP address is processed by our advertising and analytics partners to determine your rough geographic location (e.g., city or country level) for serving relevant ads. We do not access your device’s GPS for precise location.

B. Account Information (Future Features)

We are working on features that will allow you to save your progress across devices. If you choose to use these features in the future by logging in via a third-party service (such as Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In), we will collect:

  • Authentication Data: A secure token provided by the third-party service.
  • Profile Information: Your name and email address, as permitted by your privacy settings on that platform.
  • User Content: Any puzzle progress or preferences associated with your account.

3. Purposes of Processing (Why We Use Your Data)

Under Article 4 of the KVKK, we process data for limited and measured purposes:

  • Service Functionality: To run the game, save your local progress, and ensure compatibility with your device.

  • Advertising (Monetization): Mindlytic is a free app supported by ads. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. If you have granted permission, these ads may be personalized to your interests. If not, they will be non-personalized but may still use contextual data (like the puzzle topic).

  • Analytics & Improvement: To understand which puzzles are too hard or too easy and to improve the overall user experience using aggregated data.

  • Security & Debugging: To detect software bugs, prevent fraud, and ensure the security of the App using Sentry.io.

4. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

To provide our services, we share data with the following trusted third-party service providers (Data Processors). These providers may process data on servers located outside of Turkey (specifically in the USA and EU).

5. Your Rights Under KVKK (Article 11)

As a user in Turkey, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the KVKK:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is processed.
  2. To request information if your personal data has been processed.
  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with that purpose.
  4. To know the third parties (domestic or foreign) to whom data is transferred.
  5. To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  6. To request deletion or destruction of personal data under Article 7 of the KVKK.
  7. To object to negative consequences arising from automated data analysis.
  8. To demand compensation for damages resulting from unlawful processing.

How to Exercise Your Rights:

You may submit your requests to us at support@lunoa-lab.com. Please note that for anonymous users (those who have not logged in), we may be unable to identify your specific data without a unique identifier (such as an App Instance ID) which you may need to provide from the App’s settings menu.

6. Children’s Privacy

Mindlytic is a general audience application. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. We employ the “Child-Directed Treatment” flags (TFUA) within the Google Mobile Ads SDK to ensure that ads served to known children are compliant with COPPA and GDPR-K.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our app (e.g., adding social login) or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available within the application settings.
